老媽媽的「青春不老釀」
高樹鄉,幾乎每位老媽媽,都會釀製各種菜蔬,其味道總讓他鄉遊子日夜懷念,一瓶瓶的,雖是廚房不起眼的風景,卻是故鄉的滋味、私房絕妙料理。如今,這些好味道在秋香媽媽的創意與一群阿嬤的手藝下,將來自最純淨土地的在地蔬果,巧手成一系列「青春釀」產品。「釀」裡,嚐得出大地的風味、時間的溫度及一則則生命的故事!
秋香媽媽原本只是一個單純的家庭主婦,喜歡在廚房裡動手動腦,有著不怕麻煩,不怕惹事的個性。九二一大地震時,慈濟等社福團體發動義賣募款,秋香試著把將客家農村醃漬物如福菜等,拿去賣,反應不錯,產生了很多客源。於是,秋香開始與社區裡一群有心的朋友,把村子裡的阿嬤與老媽媽們組織起來成立「青春不老隊」,把傳統手工的老媽媽手藝秀出來。

Mama’s Pickles of Youth
Almost every mother in Gaoshu Township can ferment all kinds of vegetables into pickles, which give people the taste they never forget. Although the pickles are just common, jar by jar, the pickles represent the taste of homeland and the most delicious dish. The Youth series are made with fresh local vegetables by local mothers led by Mama Ciou-Siang. The pickles tell more than just flavor of the land and time, but also stories of life!
Mama Ciou-Siang used to be a common household wife who loved to make all kinds of new dishes. After the 921 Earthquake, she tried to sell her Hakka pickles for charity. Things went well, so she decided to organize mothers in town and show their home-made Hakka dishes.
